A "request for help" that brings up the whole question of "us" being capable of "being good", of "us" being capable of "helping other people", while we are still in our current state, living a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us as if we are "separate from" God within us, as if we are "separate from" each other on the "outside" of us, and as if we are "separate from" the Creation of God within us. A question that we all need to become clear about before we step out to "help other people", to become clear about for several reasons, as explained in the Body of this Spiritual Letter, and as explained in the Outlines, Summaries, and Overviews of Spiritual Letter 71. For example, in order to protect both ourselves and those we may set out to help, to protect both them from us, and to protect us from them. For example, a "lion eats meat, not grass", and if we happen to be in truth both, that is, if in our current state of "separation and differences" if we happen to contain both a lion and a lamb within us, and not just lambs within us, as "we" may like to think, then "we" as a lion may end up eating the very lamb that we initially set out to lovingly help by feeding it grass, or perhaps "we" as a lamb may be eaten by the very lamb/lion that we are lovingly trying to feed grass. In this way, the purpose of this Spiritual Letter is to address this dilemma of our life, which from another perspective on the same problem, is in truth the "Great Hypocrisy" of our life. Address this dilemma of our life, the dilemma of our current state of "separate from", the dilemma of us living on the "outside" of us acting as if "we" are "separate from" God within us, but believing that "we can still do what God is always doing within us, as "One with", as "One with" all of His Creation, for example, that "we" can "be good" and "help other people" on the "outside" of us. And address the "Great Hypocrisy" of our life, which is the hypocrisy of our saying one thing while doing another, the hypocrisy of our actions being different from our words, and the hypocrisy of "us" still in this state somehow believing that "we" can still teach other people about God, when we ourselves have not truly "Seen God or Steadied Him" within us. Which is what the true Sufis (peace be upon Them) in the Islamic tradition tell us that we must do, to be successful in our lifetime, which They (peace be upon Them) teach us is the highest point of the Kalimah or "The Remembrance of God" within us, which They (peace be upon Them) teach us to do "without doing it", that is, to do it without the ego, without the "outside" of us, to do it by joining in partnership with God within us, to recite it as "One with" God within us, and in this way, to join in partnership with God within us, to recite it, with the intention of becoming it, of becoming again "One with" God within us, allowing God within us, as "One with" Us within Him, to then make it so within us. Amen. And to do this, or at least to truly join in partnership with God within us to start to do this within us, before we die to the flesh, realizing with each breath, without the slightest doubt, that in truth, "You are Allah. There is nothing other than You. Without You there is no other help, Because I do not exist. You are with me, be inside my heart. Do not be separated from me." Welcome To This Spiritual Letter Welcome to a beautiful Spiritual Letter to two of the High School Classmates of this child, to Mr. Paul Sturgis and to Mr. Pierce Pelouze and to their wives, to Mrs. Joan Sturgis and to Mrs. Pierce Pelouze, in response to a question asked by Paul about the proper way to apply the money that was collected at the last Guy's Luncheon, with the intention of using it to "help other people", that was collected at the last Guy's Luncheon which is a group of High School Classmates of Louie who come together every couple of months to share "Fellowship". 4. Only God Is Good - so to be good, we must again become "One with" God within us, but this time with an understanding of our "Oneness", so it will never leave us again The focus of this letter are the problems associated with "us" wanting to, or having the urge to, or the thought to, "be good", for example, to help other people in the world, as part of what we believe is our "duty to God" on the "outside" of us, while we are still in our current state, the state of living on the "outside" of us as if we are "separate from" God within us, as if we are "separate from" each other on the "outside" of us, and as if we are"separate from" the Creation of God within us, all of which is not true, as long as we are still physically alive on the "outside" of us. 5. The Justice of God - is that whatever we intend is what in the end we will receive For until we die to the flesh, God is closer to us than our own breath, and we are all part of the "One Soul" within all of us, and the Creation of God within us is what each of us is currently living through, since in truth "we do not exist", as "separate from" God within us. But after we die to the flesh, after we die to the "outside" of us, everything changes, and if we have allowed our soul to again become "One with" God within us, or if we have at least truly joined in partnership with God within us, to start this transition, this transition from the illusory "outside" of us to the "true inside" of us, which is everything that is within God within us, then "We will be within it", and we will spend an eternal life as "One with" God within us. But if we have failed to do this, both within us and on the "outside" of us, before we die to the flesh, then our soul, as the "Seed of God" within us, is still buried within the Creation of God within us, is still a captive of us living an illusory life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, then Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us, which is our original pure birth and life within us, is still crucified on His cross, which is our impure birth and life, which is our current life on the "outside" of us, so we can sin, and when we physically die in that state, then God will give us what we want, what we have told Him by the way that we have lived our life on the "outside" of us, that is, as "separate from" Him, that we want for eternity, and then God will give us an eternal life within us as "separate from" Him within us, for the choice is ours, not God's. Something to think about, Yes? 6. And If We Are Wise - then we will join in partnership with God within us, before we die to the flesh, so God can then finish what God has started within us, a very, very long time ago, which is to reveal God to God within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within us, and then, "We will be within it". Amen And if we are wise, then once we have realized, understood, accepted, and joined as "One with" this "truth of us", and this "truth of God" within us, we will immediate stop living on the "outside" of us in our current way, that is, living as if we are "separate from" God within us, as if we are "separate from" each other, and as if we are "separate from" the Creation of God within us which in truth, that is, if we are wise, we will immediate join in partnership with God within us to "make this truth so" within us, realizing that the Creation of God within us is in truth the "Earth of God" within us, the "Earth of God" within us within which God in our age has literally planted the "Seed of God" within each of us, just waiting within us for it to germinate within us, so He can then "Do everything else", so He can then reveal the "Tree of God" within us, and within that reveal the "Fruits of God" within us, before we die to the flesh, that is, if we like, for again, the choice is ours, not God's. And we do this in our age by joining in partnership with God within us, to find, understand, acceptance, and become "One with" the "Gift of God" for our age, which is what we are now reading, as the life and teaching of our dear Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) within us, and of God within Him, and now on the "outside" of us, as the life and teaching of His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us), then we will truly become successful in our life time, as the life and teaching of His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us), which in truth is each of us living in this age, if we want it, if the true intention for our life within us, for our soul life, is to again become "One with" God within us, before we die to the flesh. Amen. So God within us, joined as "One with" us within Him within us, and "us" joined as "One with" Him within us within Him, can then bring forward this "Gift of God" for our age, to all of the Children of God for our age, if they like, so "We" can in partnership with God within us reveal the "Tree of God" within us for our age, hidden within this "Seed of God" within the Creation of God within us for our age, and within the "Tree of God" within us when it comes to maturity, reveal the "Fruits of God" within us for our age, that is, in this way, if we like, letting the "Seed of God" within the Creation of God within us germinate and come to maturity within us, in our life time, and in this way, letting God finish what God has started within us, a very, very long time ago, which is to reveal God to God within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within us. The One True Fault of Our Life - is our broken direct connection to God within us, which naturally occurs within us when in our ignorance we "forget God", we turn away from God within us, and in this way, we let the weeds grow in the flower garden of our heart, with "us" gradually becoming "One with" the weed flowers, seeing them in our ignorance as "us" living on the "outside" of us, with "us" within us no longer living as "One with" the Creator within us or with His Flower Garden within us 12. The True Nature of God & "Us" Within Us - is that God is the One within us who is conducting our life, not us, that God is the One within us who carries out everything in our life, not us, that God is the One within us who is responsible for the cause and the effect of our life, not us 13. Some Practical Ways To Control Our Urges And Thoughts - especially our urges and thoughts to "help other people": 1) Hand The Urge or Thought To God, And Be Done With It - that is, hand the urge or thought to "help other people" to God within us, and praise God for it, realizing that all help is God's duty not ours, and then "be done with it", and look for what is next in our life 2) Seek A Wise Man Who Is Still Alive On The "Outside" - that is, if the urge or thought to "help other people" keeps coming back, and we still have no clarity about it, then find a wise man who is still living in the world and ask Him 3) Again Hand Them To God, And Be Done With Them - that is, if we can't find a wise man still living in the world, and we still lack clarity on it, then again hand it to God within us, and then again "be done with it", and again look for what is next in our life 4) Do Nothing Until Clarity Comes - that is, if this urge or thought to "help other people" still keeps coming back, and we still lack clarity on it, and we still cannot find a wise man to ask, then do nothing, until some clarity comes, and again "be done with it" and look for what is next in our life 15. A Lion Doesn't Eat Grass - so before you set out to feed a lamb, who eats grass, make sure it isn't a hungry lion in hiding, hiding as a lamb, or you could become his next meal 16. Some Practical Suggestions For Applying The Money - that was collected at the last HMHS Guy's Luncheon 1) Always Help The Way God's Helps - that is, as "One with", not as we try to help in our ignorance, that is, as "separate from", as "separate from" everything 2) Make A Life Time Commitment - to God within us, to become like God within us, to help only as God helps, as "One with", and then join in partnership with God within us to make it so within us, before we step out to help others on the "outside" of us 3) Make Our Helping As God Helps A Secret Project - of the HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon Group, then we will increase our chance of success 4) Create A Final "Initial" Proposal - on our helping as God helps, to start the ball rolling 5) Create A Final Proposal - on our helping as God helps, and give it as a presentation to the whole HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon Group 17. The First of God's Schools - is the "School of Contrast" within us, which is where we have now all come, to this earth world, a school that is really within us but that we only see in our ignorance as existing on the "outside" of us, in order to learn about what "separates us" from God within us, and having learned these lessons, without the slightest doubt, return to God within us, and doing all of this within us before we die to the flesh, and doing it through our absolute faith, certitude, and determination in God within us, realizing that in truth "There is nothing other than God" within us, that in truth "God alone exists" within us, and that in truth "God is One" within us, which in the Islamic tradition is called Iman, and through our Iman to awaken the wisdom surrounding our soul, which naturally occurs within us when we find and become "One with" the "Word of God" for our age, with the life and teaching of God for our age, which for our age is the life and teaching of our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) within us, and God with Him, and of His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us) on the "outside" of us, in this way, allowing our awakened wisdom to liberate our soul, that is, to pull out the 5 nails of "our desire to live here", to live on the "outside" of us, as "separate from" God within us, that is, to liberate Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us from the cross of our elemental body, which is where our soul died within us so we could sin, so we could live a life of sin, a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, and in this way, for "us" to join in partnership with God within us to build the "Palace of the soul" within us, the "House of wisdom" within us, the house of Qutb Muhaiyaddeen Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani (may God be pleased with Him) within us, and in this way, for "us" in partnership with God within us to prepare everything necessary within us, before we die to the flesh, for us to go off to the next of God's School within us, which is the "School of Light" within us, which is were God will personally teach us about God within us. Amen 05. Avoiding The Dangerous Trap of Our Life - which is "us" in our current state of "separate from" God within us, of "separation from" each other on the "outside" of us, and of "separation from" the Creation of God within us, thinking that we are doing the "duty of God" on the "outside" of us. For example, which is "us" trying to "help other people" when in truth we are still living a life "separate from" God within us, "separate from" each other on the "outside" of us, and "separate from" the Creation of God within us, a way of life on the "outside" of us the opposite of God within us, a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us which in truth is only leading us further and further away from God within us, and further and further away from the "duty of God" within us, and further and further away from truly "helping other people" on the "outside" of us, of becoming the "Light of God" to the world for our age, like Jesus (peace be upon Him) was in the world over 2000 years ago, but instead of this, of following the example of Jesus (peace be upon Him), and of all of the other 124,000 Prophets, Heavenly Beings and Lights of God, who all came into the world, over and over again, over the last 200 million years, to show us how "we should live in the world", as "One with God" within us, and as "One with" each other on the "outside" us, as the "Light of God" to the world, we are currently leading a way of life, a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, which in truth is only leading us to hell within us, is only leading us to the Angel of Death (peace be upon Him) within us, to an eternal life as "separate from" God within us, with all of this occurring within us within the "Justice of God" within us 06. The Point of Our Life In The World - is to learn the lessons that we have come here to learn, in this earth world within us, before we die to the flesh, in this "School of Contrast" within us, that is, to understand "Who we already are", and then to leave here and return to God within us, from whom we have all come, in order to learn these lessons correctly, and to do all of this before we die to the flesh, that is, to clearly understand what is "separating us from God" within us, what is "separating us from each other" on the "outside" of us, and what is "separating us from the Creation of God" within us, and having learned all of these lesson, and having then graduated from the "School of Contrasts" within us, to return to God within us, in order to go to the next of God's Schools within us, the "School of Light" within us, in order to learn about God from God within us 07. The Cure of Us Is God Himself, Not "Us" Getting Better - is our again becoming "One with" God within us, before we die to the flesh, but this time with an understanding of our "Oneness" so it will never leave us again, which in truth is how we show God our true "Love for God", that is, that we would now willingly and freely die to the "outside" of us, that is, die to "us" living as if we are "separate from" God within us, which is the falsehood of us, so that God can truly again live within us, with "us" as "One with" Him within us, which is the truth of us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within us Page 03: - click HERE to go to the "Text" of Page 3, "Outline" of Page 3 continues 08. The Choice Is Ours, Not God's - for God has already made His choice, and He chose "Oneness" with us, and that is why we are now alive on the "outside" of us, for in truth Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us, which is our soul, which is our purity, died within us, so we could sin, that is, our soul was crucified on the cross of our elemental body by our mind and desire, so we could live a life of sin, a life of "separation and differences", on the "outside" of us. 09. Our True Heritage & Birthright, The True Destiny of Our Soul - is how our life really works within us, is how our life really moves forward within us, with us as "One with" God within us, with us as "One with" everything that God is "One with" within us, and in this way, with us letting God within us finish what He has started within us 10. What Is Separating Us From God Within Us - is the same thing that is separating us from each other on the "outside" of us, and what is separating us from each other on the "outside" of us, is the same thing that is separating us from God within us, and that is our ego, that is our belief in our own life as "separate from" God within us, as "separate from" each other, and as "separate from" the Creation of God within us 11. The One True Fault of Our Life - is our broken direct connection to God within us, which naturally occurs within us when in our ignorance we let the weeds grow in the flower garden of our heart, with the weeds in maturity gradually becoming our ego, gradually become our life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us. And what we now need in order to overcome this fault is wisdom, and the qualities and actions of God within us, which naturally grow within us when we start to use our wisdom to pull out the weeds in the flower garden of our heart, and plant and bring to maturity the gracious qualities and actions of God within us. Amen. 12. The True Nature of God Within Us - God is the One who is conducting our life, not us. For as our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) teaches us, "Our entire life and everything that happens to us is conducted by Allah, not us. He is the One who carries out everything. There Are No Good People, Only God Is God - so to become good we must first again become God, we must first again become "One with" God within us, but this time with an understanding of our "Oneness", of our "Goodness", so it will never leave us again. Some Practical Ways To Control Our Urges And Thoughts - especially our urges and thoughts to "help other people", which can only truly be controlled by bringing God within us into it, by making "us", and all that comes to us, including our urges and thoughts to "help other people" into God's problem within us, and not keeping them as our problem on the "outside" of us, that is, by making "us" as "separate from" God within us, and "us" as "separate from" each other on the "outside" of us, and "us" as "separate from" the Creation of God within us, into God's problem, for only God can solve these problem of the ego, 1) Hand The Urge or Thoughts To God, And Be Done With Them - that is, hand the urge or thought to "help other people" to God within us, and praise God for the urge and thought to help, and then "be done with it", and look for what is next in your life, as this child does. 2) Seek A Wise Man Who Is Still Alive On The "Outside" - that is, if the urge or thought to "help other people", that is, to be a "do gooder", keeps coming back, and you still have no clarity about what to do, then find a wise man who is still living in the world and ask Him, and follow His advice concerning this matter, as this child has done in the past. 14. Some Practical Ways To Control Our Urges And Thoughts (continued) 3) Again Hand Them To God, And Be Done With Them - that is, if you can't find a wise man still living in the world, and you still lack clarity about what to do, then again hand it to God within you, and then again "be done with it", and then again look for what is next in your life, as this child does. 4) Do Nothing Until Clarity Comes - that is, if this urge or thought to "help other people", that is, to be a "go gooder", still keeps coming back, and if you still lack about what to do, and if you still cannot find a wise man to consult who is still living in the world, then do nothing until some clarity comes, and then again "be done with it", and look for what is next in your life, as this child does, for then at least you and the other people will be safe, safe from both you and from other people, and safe from the things both within you and within them that neither of you are currently unaware of, that could be very dangerous to all concerned, like a lion disguised as a lamb who is looking for a good meal. 15. A Lion Doesn't Eat Grass - so before you set out to feed a lamb, who eats grass, make sure it isn't a hungry lion in hiding, or you could become his next meal 16. Some Practical Suggestions For applying The Money - that was collected at the last HMHS Guy's Luncheon 1) Always Help The Way God's Helps - that is, as "One with" the people we are helping, for helping in any other way, like as "separate from" the people we are helping, can be very dangerous, as explained earlier, dangerous both for the people we are trying to help, and for us 2) Make A Life Time Commitment - that is, lets make the commitment to become like God within us, to help only as God helps, and then join in partnership with God within us to make it so, not just to try and help someone a few times, and make this commitment not to some person "separate from" us, but rather to God within us all. 3) Make It The Secret Project - of the HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon. That is, lets make this the "Secret Project" of the HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon that we share with no one outside of our little group, except for our immediate families, and with the family that we choose to adopt, and who chooses to adopt us 16. Some Practical Suggestions For applying The Money (continued) 4) Create A Final "Initial" Proposal - to start the ball rolling, that is, then you and this child, over the Internet, put together a little presentation to the HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon Group about this proposal, and present it first to Pierce and Dolores and to your wife Joan, in order to start the ball rolling, and to gather support for it, as well as to include new ideas and clarity about it, and to conduct a real "sanity check" on it. 5) Create A Final Proposal - to give as a presentation to the whole HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon Group, that is, then if we get this far, that is, if the ball is still rolling, that you and Pierce and this child present the final proposal to the whole HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon Group. That is, what we have learned and are continuing to learn about "being good" and "about helping people", doing it as God "is good" and as God "helps people", which is as "One with", which is from within our very own hearts, not as we continue to try to "be good" and "to help other people" in our ignorance, that is, with us only "helping other people" as "separate from" them, and with us only "helping them" on the "outside" of us. And then if you like we will also share with you some very practical suggestion, from the heart of this child, for controlling the urges or thoughts that we all periodically have in our life, that are not really helpful in our life, like controlling the urges and thoughts that we all have about our "being good". For example, like understanding and controlling the urges or thoughts that we all have about us "becoming good" or "becoming better" by "us" trying to "help other people" on the "outside" of us, doing this by first understanding them, then by establishing the "Presence of God" within us, then by "handing these urges and thoughts back to God" within us, from which in truth they have come. And then finally by "us" truly being "done with them" forever, done with all of these urges and thoughts of "selfishness", of arrogance, karma, and illusion, by using God within us to understanding them, and their true purpose and value, and then using God within us to get rid of them, and replace them with God's thoughts and actions and qualities and duties. Doing all of this within us, before we die to the flesh, by joining in partnership with God within us to "Make God's Intention Our Search", and then to "Intend as God Intends" within us, that is, by joining in partnership with God within us to discard from within us what God has discarded from within Himself, and then looking for and joining as "One with" what is truly next "from God" within us, from within our very own life, accepting it as what God has personally and ever so loving hidden within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within us. Like the apple tree is hidden within an apple seed, and like the apple seed is buried within the earth, and the apple seed having understood itself, and what is hidden within it, having realized, understood, and accepted the truth of itself, that it is an apple seed, and the truth of what is hidden within it, which is an apple tree, and its many fruits, and again the apple seed, the apple seed then joins with the earth to germinate and to reveal the apple tree hidden within it, and its fruits, and again the apple seed, but this time a 1000 fold. Can we not do at least with our life as much as an apple seed, and germinate to the truth of us, and reveal what God has personally and ever so lovingly hidden within us? That is, can we not at least bringing the "Power of God" from within us to bear upon our current life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, making it shrink and finally go away, and by joining in partnership with God within us, and with what God is already doing within us, in this way, make what God is already doing within us grow, come to maturity, and finally become the "Kingdom of God" within us, before we die to the flesh. Amen. Can we not at least do this much with our life before we die to the flesh? And finally if you like we will also share with you some very practical suggestions, from the heart of this child, for applying the money that you collected. For example, like us try to use the money collected to "help other people" in the same way that God helps, as "One with" and from within us all, that is, by "us" adopting a whole family, that is, by the HMHS Class of 56 "Boy's Luncheon Group" taking a whole family into our hearts, and truly helping them as God helps them, from our hearts, that is, as "One with" them, not as "separate from" them, truly making their happiness and sadness into our happiness and sadness, and making their success and failure into our success and failure, in this way, joining in partnership within us to remove all of our "separation and differences", to remove all that is "separating us" from God within us. Amen. In this way, helping them in the same way that Jesus (peace be upon Him) taught us to help, over 2000 years ago, and now in our age, as our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) within us, and God within Him, teach us to help, as "One with", and now on the "outside" of us, as His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us) are teaching us right now about "how to be good", and about "how to help". And in this way, lets resist the urge or though to "be good" and to "help other people" by "us" giving the money that we collected to some organizational or social organization, who advertise that they can "help other people" for us, which then "sort of gets us off of the helping hook", so to speak, but which in truth is more like "us" hiring someone else to throw some bread crumbs to the pigeons for us, in this way, "keeping us safe" from "those well known pigeon diseases", but which in truth will not do any of "us" any good, except perhaps help pay the salaries of some of the advertised "do gooders". Ok? My dearest loving brothers Paul and Pierce, and my dearest loving sisters Joan and Dolores, let us really try to "be good" and to "help other people" in this way, as God does it all the time, from within the hearts of each of His Creation, as "One with" each of His Creation, not as "separate from" them on the "outside" of them, let us really try to help in this way, as God helps, as "One with" from within our very own hearts, instead of trying to continue to help in our usual way, which is as "separate from" on the "outside" of us, which in truth does not really help anybody, and in truth only moves us further away from God within us, and from what God is truly doing within us, which is revealing God to God within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within us. And then we will all truly benefit from this kind of helping, then we will all truly be helped, from God within us all, from within our very own hearts, both the family that "we" adopt, that is, the family that we truly take into our hearts, and also each of us, also the group that this "family" adopts, which is us, which is the "Boy's Luncheon Group", that this "family" will then quite naturally also take into their hearts, and start to treat as "their very own family". Such is the true lesson of Jesus (peace be upon Him) in our lives, and of all of the 124,000 Heavenly Beings, Prophets, and Lights of God who have come from God into the world over and over again over the last 200 million years, since Adam and Eve (peace be upon Them) first came to this earth world, the lesson that in truth we are all "One", God and True Man and each of us are all "One", which in truth is true prayer, the prayer of the "One to the One who Is". This is the lesson that we have all come here to learn, that we are all "One", and then having learned this lesson to then leave here and return as "One with" God within us, and this is what it means to be "born again" as Jesus (peace be upon Him) teaches us, not to continue to live here in our current state of "separation and differences" until we die to the flesh, as we are now trying to do, but rather to join in partnership with God within us in order to learn what we have come here to learn. And to use God within us to discard from within us what God has discarded from within Himself, and to use God within us to grow within us all that God has grown within Himself, and then to leave here by using God within us to disappearing within God within us, and in this way, to join again as "One with" God within us for eternity, both now until we die to the flesh, and then for eternity after we have died to the "outside" of us, or after at least one of us has prematurely destroyed the "outside" of us for all of us, which is a real possibility in our age. For in truth this is the only way anyone can be helped, by God within us all, from within our very own hearts, by the "Justice of God" within us all, which naturally comes into play within us all when we truly join in partnership with God within us, when we truly start to use God within us to get to God within us, when we truly start to use God within us to share our lives with each other, as "One with" each other, and as "One with" God within us. A "request for help" that brings up the whole question of "us" being capable of "being good", of "us" being capable of "helping other people", while we are still in our current state, living a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us as if we are "separate from" God within us, as if we are "separate from" each other on the "outside" of us, and as if we are "separate from" the Creation of God within us. A question that we all need to become clear about before we step out to "help other people", to become clear about for several reasons, as explained in the Body of this Spiritual Letter, and as explained in the Outlines, Summaries, and Overviews of Spiritual Letter 71. For example, in order to protect both ourselves and those we may set out to help, to protect both them from us, and to protect us from them. For example, a "lion eats meat, not grass", and if we happen to be in truth both, that is, if in our current state of "separation and differences" if we happen to contain both a lion and a lamb within us, and not just lambs within us, as "we" may like to think, then "we" as a lion may end up eating the very lamb that we initially set out to lovingly help by feeding it grass, or perhaps "we" as a lamb may be eaten by the very lamb/lion that we are lovingly trying to feed grass. In this way, the purpose of this Spiritual Letter is to address this dilemma of our life, which from another perspective on the same problem, is in truth the "Great Hypocrisy" of our life. Address this dilemma of our life, the dilemma of our current state of "separate from", the dilemma of us living on the "outside" of us acting as if "we" are "separate from" God within us, but believing that "we can still do what God is always doing within us, as "One with", as "One with" all of His Creation, for example, that "we" can "be good" and "help other people" on the "outside" of us. And address the "Great Hypocrisy" of our life, which is the hypocrisy of our saying one thing while doing another, the hypocrisy of our actions being different from our words, and the hypocrisy of "us" still in this state somehow believing that "we" can still teach other people about God, when we ourselves have not truly "Seen God or Steadied Him" within us. Which is what the true Sufis (peace be upon Them) in the Islamic tradition tell us that we must do, to be successful in our lifetime, which They (peace be upon Them) teach us is the highest point of the Kalimah or "The Remembrance of God" within us, which They (peace be upon Them) teach us to do "without doing it", that is, to do it without the ego, without the "outside" of us, to do it by joining in partnership with God within us, to recite it as "One with" God within us, and in this way, to join in partnership with God within us, to recite it, with the intention of becoming it, of becoming again "One with" God within us, allowing God within us, as "One with" Us within Him, to then make it so within us. Amen. And to do this, or at least to truly join in partnership with God within us to start to do this within us, before we die to the flesh, realizing with each breath, without the slightest doubt, that in truth, "You are Allah. There is nothing other than You. Without You there is no other help, Because I do not exist. You are with me, be inside my heart. Do not be separated from me." Welcome To This Spiritual Letter Welcome to a beautiful Spiritual Letter to two of the High School Classmates of this child, to Mr. Paul Sturgis and to Mr. Pierce Pelouze and to their wives, to Mrs. Joan Sturgis and to Mrs. Pierce Pelouze, in response to a question asked by Paul about the proper way to apply the money that was collected at the last Guy's Luncheon, with the intention of using it to "help other people", that was collected at the last Guy's Luncheon which is a group of High School Classmates of Louie who come together every couple of months to share "Fellowship". 4. Only God Is Good - so to be good, we must again become "One with" God within us, but this time with an understanding of our "Oneness", so it will never leave us again The focus of this letter are the problems associated with "us" wanting to, or having the urge to, or the thought to, "be good", for example, to help other people in the world, as part of what we believe is our "duty to God" on the "outside" of us, while we are still in our current state, the state of living on the "outside" of us as if we are "separate from" God within us, as if we are "separate from" each other on the "outside" of us, and as if we are"separate from" the Creation of God within us, all of which is not true, as long as we are still physically alive on the "outside" of us. 5. The Justice of God - is that whatever we intend is what in the end we will receive For until we die to the flesh, God is closer to us than our own breath, and we are all part of the "One Soul" within all of us, and the Creation of God within us is what each of us is currently living through, since in truth "we do not exist", as "separate from" God within us. But after we die to the flesh, after we die to the "outside" of us, everything changes, and if we have allowed our soul to again become "One with" God within us, or if we have at least truly joined in partnership with God within us, to start this transition, this transition from the illusory "outside" of us to the "true inside" of us, which is everything that is within God within us, then "We will be within it", and we will spend an eternal life as "One with" God within us. But if we have failed to do this, both within us and on the "outside" of us, before we die to the flesh, then our soul, as the "Seed of God" within us, is still buried within the Creation of God within us, is still a captive of us living an illusory life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, then Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us, which is our original pure birth and life within us, is still crucified on His cross, which is our impure birth and life, which is our current life on the "outside" of us, so we can sin, and when we physically die in that state, then God will give us what we want, what we have told Him by the way that we have lived our life on the "outside" of us, that is, as "separate from" Him, that we want for eternity, and then God will give us an eternal life within us as "separate from" Him within us, for the choice is ours, not God's. And If We Are Wise - then we will join in partnership with God within us, before we die to the flesh, so God can then finish what God has started within us, a very, very long time ago, which is to reveal God to God within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within us, and then, "We will be within it". Amen And if we are wise, then once we have realized, understood, accepted, and joined as "One with" this "truth of us", and this "truth of God" within us, we will immediate stop living on the "outside" of us in our current way, that is, living as if we are "separate from" God within us, as if we are "separate from" each other, and as if we are "separate from" the Creation of God within us which in truth, that is, if we are wise, we will immediate join in partnership with God within us to "make this truth so" within us, realizing that the Creation of God within us is in truth the "Earth of God" within us, the "Earth of God" within us within which God in our age has literally planted the "Seed of God" within each of us, just waiting within us for it to germinate within us, so He can then "Do everything else", so He can then reveal the "Tree of God" within us, and within that reveal the "Fruits of God" within us, before we die to the flesh, that is, if we like, for again, the choice is ours, not God's. And we do this in our age by joining in partnership with God within us, to find, understand, acceptance, and become "One with" the "Gift of God" for our age, which is what we are now reading, as the life and teaching of our dear Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) within us, and of God within Him, and now on the "outside" of us, as the life and teaching of His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us), then we will truly become successful in our life time, as the life and teaching of His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us), which in truth is each of us living in this age, if we want it, if the true intention for our life within us, for our soul life, is to again become "One with" God within us, before we die to the flesh. Some Practical Ways To Control Our Urges And Thoughts - especially our urges and thoughts to "help other people": 1) Hand The Urge or Thought To God, And Be Done With It - that is, hand the urge or thought to "help other people" to God within us, and praise God for it, realizing that all help is God's duty not ours, and then "be done with it", and look for what is next in our life 2) Seek A Wise Man Who Is Still Alive On The "Outside" - that is, if the urge or thought to "help other people" keeps coming back, and we still have no clarity about it, then find a wise man who is still living in the world and ask Him 3) Again Hand Them To God, And Be Done With Them - that is, if we can't find a wise man still living in the world, and we still lack clarity on it, then again hand it to God within us, and then again "be done with it", and again look for what is next in our life 4) Do Nothing Until Clarity Comes - that is, if this urge or thought to "help other people" still keeps coming back, and we still lack clarity on it, and we still cannot find a wise man to ask, then do nothing, until some clarity comes, and again "be done with it" and look for what is next in our life 15. A Lion Doesn't Eat Grass - so before you set out to feed a lamb, who eats grass, make sure it isn't a hungry lion in hiding, hiding as a lamb, or you could become his next meal 16. The First of God's Schools - is the "School of Contrast" within us, which is where we have now all come, to this earth world, a school that is really within us but that we only see in our ignorance as existing on the "outside" of us, in order to learn about what "separates us" from God within us, and having learned these lessons, without the slightest doubt, return to God within us, and doing all of this within us before we die to the flesh, and doing it through our absolute faith, certitude, and determination in God within us, realizing that in truth "There is nothing other than God" within us, that in truth "God alone exists" within us, and that in truth "God is One" within us, which in the Islamic tradition is called Iman, and through our Iman to awaken the wisdom surrounding our soul, which naturally occurs within us when we find and become "One with" the "Word of God" for our age, with the life and teaching of God for our age, which for our age is the life and teaching of our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) within us, and God with Him, and of His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us) on the "outside" of us, in this way, allowing our awakened wisdom to liberate our soul, that is, to pull out the 5 nails of "our desire to live here", to live on the "outside" of us, as "separate from" God within us, that is, to liberate Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us from the cross of our elemental body, which is where our soul died within us so we could sin, so we could live a life of sin, a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, and in this way, for "us" to join in partnership with God within us to build the "Palace of the soul" within us, the "House of wisdom" within us, the house of Qutb Muhaiyaddeen Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani (may God be pleased with Him) within us, and in this way, for "us" in partnership with God within us to prepare everything necessary within us, before we die to the flesh, for us to go off to the next of God's School within us, which is the "School of Light" within us, which is were God will personally teach us about God within us. Avoiding The Dangerous Trap of Our Life - which is "us" in our current state of "separate from" God within us, of "separation from" each other on the "outside" of us, and of "separation from" the Creation of God within us, thinking that we are doing the "duty of God" on the "outside" of us. For example, which is "us" trying to "help other people" when in truth we are still living a life "separate from" God within us, "separate from" each other on the "outside" of us, and "separate from" the Creation of God within us, a way of life on the "outside" of us the opposite of God within us, a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us which in truth is only leading us further and further away from God within us, and further and further away from the "duty of God" within us, and further and further away from truly "helping other people" on the "outside" of us, of becoming the "Light of God" to the world for our age, like Jesus (peace be upon Him) was in the world over 2000 years ago, but instead of this, of following the example of Jesus (peace be upon Him), and of all of the other 124,000 Prophets, Heavenly Beings and Lights of God, who all came into the world, over and over again, over the last 200 million years, to show us how "we should live in the world", as "One with God" within us, and as "One with" each other on the "outside" us, as the "Light of God" to the world, we are currently leading a way of life, a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, which in truth is only leading us to hell within us, is only leading us to the Angel of Death (peace be upon Him) within us, to an eternal life as "separate from" God within us, with all of this occurring within us within the "Justice of God" within us 06. The Point of Our Life In The World - is to learn the lessons that we have come here to learn, in this earth world within us, before we die to the flesh, in this "School of Contrast" within us, that is, to understand "Who we already are", and then to leave here and return to God within us, from whom we have all come, in order to learn these lessons correctly, and to do all of this before we die to the flesh, that is, to clearly understand what is "separating us from God" within us, what is "separating us from each other" on the "outside" of us, and what is "separating us from the Creation of God" within us, and having learned all of these lesson, and having then graduated from the "School of Contrasts" within us, to return to God within us, in order to go to the next of God's Schools within us, the "School of Light" within us, in order to learn about God from God within us 07. And what we now need in order to overcome this fault is wisdom, and the qualities and actions of God within us, which naturally grow within us when we start to use our wisdom to pull out the weeds in the flower garden of our heart, and plant and bring to maturity the gracious qualities and actions of God within us. Some Practical Ways To Control Our Urges And Thoughts - especially our urges and thoughts to "help other people", which can only truly be controlled by bringing God within us into it, by making "us", and all that comes to us, including our urges and thoughts to "help other people" into God's problem within us, and not keeping them as our problem on the "outside" of us, that is, by making "us" as "separate from" God within us, and "us" as "separate from" each other on the "outside" of us, and "us" as "separate from" the Creation of God within us, into God's problem, for only God can solve these problem of the ego, 1) Hand The Urge or Thoughts To God, And Be Done With Them - that is, hand the urge or thought to "help other people" to God within us, and praise God for the urge and thought to help, and then "be done with it", and look for what is next in your life, as this child does. 2) Seek A Wise Man Who Is Still Alive On The "Outside" - that is, if the urge or thought to "help other people", that is, to be a "do gooder", keeps coming back, and you still have no clarity about what to do, then find a wise man who is still living in the world and ask Him, and follow His advice concerning this matter, as this child has done in the past. 14. Some Practical Ways To Control Our Urges And Thoughts (continued) 3) Again Hand Them To God, And Be Done With Them - that is, if you can't find a wise man still living in the world, and you still lack clarity about what to do, then again hand it to God within you, and then again "be done with it", and then again look for what is next in your life, as this child does. 4) Do Nothing Until Clarity Comes - that is, if this urge or thought to "help other people", that is, to be a "go gooder", still keeps coming back, and if you still lack about what to do, and if you still cannot find a wise man to consult who is still living in the world, then do nothing until some clarity comes, and then again "be done with it", and look for what is next in your life, as this child does, for then at least you and the other people will be safe, safe from both you and from other people, and safe from the things both within you and within them that neither of you are currently unaware of, that could be very dangerous to all concerned, like a lion disguised as a lamb who is looking for a good meal. 15. A Lion Doesn't Eat Grass - so before you set out to feed a lamb, who eats grass, make sure it isn't a hungry lion in hiding, or you could become his next meal 16. Some Practical Suggestions For applying The Money - that was collected at the last HMHS Guy's Luncheon 1) Always Help The Way God's Helps - that is, as "One with" the people we are helping, for helping in any other way, like as "separate from" the people we are helping, can be very dangerous, as explained earlier, dangerous both for the people we are trying to help, and for us 2) Make A Life Time Commitment - that is, lets make the commitment to become like God within us, to help only as God helps, and then join in partnership with God within us to make it so, not just to try and help someone a few times, and make this commitment not to some person "separate from" us, but rather to God within us all. 3) Make It The Secret Project - of the HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon. That is, lets make this the "Secret Project" of the HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon that we share with no one outside of our little group, except for our immediate families, and with the family that we choose to adopt, and who chooses to adopt us 16. Some Practical Suggestions For applying The Money (continued) 4) Create A Final "Initial" Proposal - to start the ball rolling, that is, then you and this child, over the Internet, put together a little presentation to the HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon Group about this proposal, and present it first to Pierce and Dolores and to your wife Joan, in order to start the ball rolling, and to gather support for it, as well as to include new ideas and clarity about it, and to conduct a real "sanity check" on it. 5) Create A Final Proposal - to give as a presentation to the whole HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon Group, that is, then if we get this far, that is, if the ball is still rolling, that you and Pierce and this child present the final proposal to the whole HMHS56 Guy's Luncheon Group. You are correct both in collecting it, and in now seeking help in applying it, for this is not a small matter in our life, and must be properly done, if we are to do it at all. And if you like we will start with sharing with you what this child has learned, and continues to learn, about "being good" and about "helping people", from living at the feet of our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) within us, and from God within Him, and what we are now also learning on the "outside" of us from His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us). That is, what we have learned and are continuing to learn about "being good" and "about helping people", doing it as God "is good" and as God "helps people", which is as "One with", which is from within our very own hearts, not as we continue to try to "be good" and "to help other people" in our ignorance, that is, with us only "helping other people" as "separate from" them, and with us only "helping them" on the "outside" of us. And then if you like we will also share with you some very practical suggestion, from the heart of this child, for controlling the urges or thoughts that we all periodically have in our life, that are not really helpful in our life, like controlling the urges and thoughts that we all have about our "being good". For example, like understanding and controlling the urges or thoughts that we all have about us "becoming good" or "becoming better" by "us" trying to "help other people" on the "outside" of us, doing this by first understanding them, then by establishing the "Presence of God" within us, then by "handing these urges and thoughts back to God" within us, from which in truth they have come. And then finally by "us" truly being "done with them" forever, done with all of these urges and thoughts of "selfishness", of arrogance, karma, and illusion, by using God within us to understanding them, and their true purpose and value, and then using God within us to get rid of them, and replace them with God's thoughts and actions and qualities and duties. Doing all of this within us, before we die to the flesh, by joining in partnership with God within us to "Make God's Intention Our Search", and then to "Intend as God Intends" within us, that is, by joining in partnership with God within us to discard from within us what God has discarded from within Himself, and then looking for and joining as "One with" what is truly next "from God" within us, from within our very own life, accepting it as what God has personally and ever so loving hidden within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within us. Like the apple tree is hidden within an apple seed, and like the apple seed is buried within the earth, and the apple seed having understood itself, and what is hidden within it, having realized, understood, and accepted the truth of itself, that it is an apple seed, and the truth of what is hidden within it, which is an apple tree, and its many fruits, and again the apple seed, the apple seed then joins with the earth to germinate and to reveal the apple tree hidden within it, and its fruits, and again the apple seed, but this time a 1000 fold. Can we not do at least with our life as much as an apple seed, and germinate to the truth of us, and reveal what God has personally and ever so lovingly hidden within us? That is, can we not at least bringing the "Power of God" from within us to bear upon our current life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, making it shrink and finally go away, and by joining in partnership with God within us, and with what God is already doing within us, in this way, make what God is already doing within us grow, come to maturity, and finally become the "Kingdom of God" within us, before we die to the flesh. Amen. Can we not at least do this much with our life before we die to the flesh? And finally if you like we will also share with you some very practical suggestions, from the heart of this child, for applying the money that you collected. For example, like us try to use the money collected to "help other people" in the same way that God helps, as "One with" and from within us all, that is, by "us" adopting a whole family, that is, by the HMHS Class of 56 "Boy's Luncheon Group" taking a whole family into our hearts, and truly helping them as God helps them, from our hearts, that is, as "One with" them, not as "separate from" them, truly making their happiness and sadness into our happiness and sadness, and making their success and failure into our success and failure, in this way, joining in partnership within us to remove all of our "separation and differences", to remove all that is "separating us" from God within us. Amen. In this way, helping them in the same way that Jesus (peace be upon Him) taught us to help, over 2000 years ago, and now in our age, as our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) within us, and God within Him, teach us to help, as "One with", and now on the "outside" of us, as His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us) are teaching us right now about "how to be good", and about "how to help". And in this way, lets resist the urge or though to "be good" and to "help other people" by "us" giving the money that we collected to some organizational or social organization, who advertise that they can "help other people" for us, which then "sort of gets us off of the helping hook", so to speak, but which in truth is more like "us" hiring someone else to throw some bread crumbs to the pigeons for us, in this way, "keeping us safe" from "those well known pigeon diseases", but which in truth will not do any of "us" any good, except perhaps help pay the salaries of some of the advertised "do gooders". Ok? My dearest loving brothers Paul and Pierce, and my dearest loving sisters Joan and Dolores, let us really try to "be good" and to "help other people" in this way, as God does it all the time, from within the hearts of each of His Creation, as "One with" each of His Creation, not as "separate from" them on the "outside" of them, let us really try to help in this way, as God helps, as "One with" from within our very own hearts, instead of trying to continue to help in our usual way, which is as "separate from" on the "outside" of us, which in truth does not really help anybody, and in truth only moves us further away from God within us, and from what God is truly doing within us, which is revealing God to God within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within us. Amen. And then we will all truly benefit from this kind of helping, then we will all truly be helped, from God within us all, from within our very own hearts, both the family that "we" adopt, that is, the family that we truly take into our hearts, and also each of us, also the group that this "family" adopts, which is us, which is the "Boy's Luncheon Group", that this "family" will then quite naturally also take into their hearts, and start to treat as "their very own family". Such is the true lesson of Jesus (peace be upon Him) in our lives, and of all of the 124,000 Heavenly Beings, Prophets, and Lights of God who have come from God into the world over and over again over the last 200 million years, since Adam and Eve (peace be upon Them) first came to this earth world, the lesson that in truth we are all "One", God and True Man and each of us are all "One", which in truth is true prayer, the prayer of the "One to the One who Is". This is the lesson that we have all come here to learn, that we are all "One", and then having learned this lesson to then leave here and return as "One with" God within us, and this is what it means to be "born again" as Jesus (peace be upon Him) teaches us, not to continue to live here in our current state of "separation and differences" until we die to the flesh, as we are now trying to do, but rather to join in partnership with God within us in order to learn what we have come here to learn. And to use God within us to discard from within us what God has discarded from within Himself, and to use God within us to grow within us all that God has grown within Himself, and then to leave here by using God within us to disappearing within God within us, and in this way, to join again as "One with" God within us for eternity, both now until we die to the flesh, and then for eternity after we have died to the "outside" of us, or after at least one of us has prematurely destroyed the "outside" of us for all of us, which is a real possibility in our age. For in truth this is the only way anyone can be helped, by God within us all, from within our very own hearts, by the "Justice of God" within us all, which naturally comes into play within us all when we truly join in partnership with God within us, when we truly start to use God within us to get to God within us, when we truly start to use God within us to share our lives with each other, as "One with" each other, and as "One with" God within us.
